The Waislitz Foundation proudly congratulates all participants in the 2026 HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon, with special recognition to the SACH-HOKA team for their outstanding efforts, raising over $30,000 in support of Save a Child’s Heart.
This year’s event saw tens of thousands of runners take to the streets of Sydney, uniting in a shared commitment to fitness, community, and philanthropy. Among them, the SACH-HOKA team demonstrated exceptional dedication, raising vital funds to support life-saving cardiac care for children in need.
Save a Child’s Heart is an international humanitarian organisation focused on improving paediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries. Through life-saving surgeries and ongoing medical training, the organisation continues to create lasting impact for thousands of children and their families around the world.

As a principal sponsor of the event, the Waislitz Foundation was honoured to support the SACH-HOKA team and their mission. The Foundation also acknowledges the valuable contributions of fellow sponsors Canaccord Genuity Australia Foundation and Lipman Burgon and Partners, whose support helped make this initiative possible.
The success of this year’s Runaway Sydney Half Marathon is a testament to the power of collective action. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings hope and healing to children who need it most.
